I originally found Adam’s website on the Knot, and was impressed with what I saw. When I spoke with another of our vendors about DJs, he also recommended Adam, having worked with him previously. After contacting Adam, I was immediately taken by his warm nature. My now husband and I went to meet him about a year before our wedding, and he was happy to bring a great deal of his equipment. He showed us his computer and the different ways he could mix and meld songs together. He showed us up-lighting and offered to meet us at our venue to test it out and pick a color that would work with our vision for our wedding day. After meeting with him, we continued to be in touch via phone and email. He was always available when we had a question, and he was happy to share his expertise. He helped us plan our personal touches such as special entrance songs for our bridal party, silly songs that we wanted to include to make our guests laugh, etc. He also helped us to incorporate our favorite music–artists like Sublime–into the wedding reception atmosphere. He checked in on us several times throughout the night to make sure we were having fun and to see if there was anything else he could do for us. Our guests were dancing before dinner and did not sit down (besides a couple minutes to eat) the entire night. When we went up to thank him at the end of the night, he could not have been more gracious, and our guests reported having the same experience speaking in with him. He genuinely cared about our special day and was simply thrilled to have an opportunity to help us celebrate. If you want excellent wedding entertainment with a personal touch, you will not be disappointed with Adam!
